Head Coach: Robert Emery
 Plattsburgh State ice hockey coach Bob Emery has led his teams to six Final Four appearances in the last ten years, including three straight from 2000-02.
In addition, he added a second national championship to his resume in 2001, further underscoring his status as one of the top coaches in collegiate hockey today.
He has led his team to 30 wins twice, both ending in national titles.
Entering his 20th season as coach at Plattsburgh, Emery has amassed over 59 percent of the team's victories in its 30-year history.
He has coached 12 All-Americans including six two-time All-Americans, five SUNYAC Players of the Year, six SUNYAC Rookies of the Year, 11 SUNYAC Tournament MVPs, 62 All-SUNYAC and 47 All-SUNYAC Tournament selections.He has also led his teams to 11 regular season conference titles (six in a row from 1996-02.)
In his 19 seasons at Plattsburgh, Emery's teams have won 20 games 14 times. The Cardinals also won the ECAC West Championship in 1992.
In addition, Emery has directed the Cardinals to 12 NCAA Tournament appearances, and eight Final Fours, reaching the Championship game four times.
He is past chair of the NCAA Division III Championships committee that selects the participants in the NCAA Tournament.
Prior to becoming head coach at Plattsburgh State, Emery was an assistant during the 1988-89 season.
Before that, he was head coach of the six-team New England College Developmental League, a prep league for high school athletes with aspirations of playing at the collegiate level.
Emery was a Hockey East All-Star and alternate captain his senior year at Boston College. In his four years the Eagles made three NCAA appearances and won the prestigious Beanpot Championship in 1983.
After his collegiate playing career, Emery was invited to the Montreal Canadiens' training camp.
He played for the Quebec Nordiques' American Hockey League affiliate, the Fredericton Express, for one year and the Maine Mariners, a Bruins affiliate, for one year in his short professional career.
Emery attended Matignon H.S. in Somerville, MA, leading his team to three consecutive state championships while earning Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic honors.
He was a 10th-round pick (No. 208 overall) in the 1982 NHL entry draft by the Montreal Canadiens.

Assistant Coach: Steve Moffat  Coach Moffat returns for a 8th year behind the Plattsburgh State bench. This season will mark his 5th as the Cardinals top assistant coach.
Coach Moffat was a two-time All-American for Plattsburgh State, including 1st Team honors during the 1997-98 season. Moffat finished his career at Plattsburgh ranked 6th all-time in points scored, and 3rd all-time in goals scored.
Moffat joined the Columbus Chill of the ECHL after graduation in 1998. In 1999-00 Moffat played for the Florida Everblades. The Everblades finished with the best record in the ECHL and won the Southeast Division Championship.
Moffat would return to Plattsburgh State and earn his master's degree in 2002. He worked for Seton Catholic High School before joining the Cardinals coaching staff.
