LAURIE BOWLER NAMED ECAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ECAC - Cardinal senior forward Laurie Bowler scored four of her team's nine goals this past weekend's sweep of RIT. Laurie scored a power-play goal in Friday's 4-3 win to tie the NCAA Division III all-time record of 29. THe goal was also her 100th career point. Bowler went on to score three times in Plattsburgh's 5-2 win on Saturday.

"She struggled a bit scoring goals early this year, but she never stops working hard," Houle told the Press Republican on Monday. "She's a great leader. She's always positive no matter how she's playing or if she's scoring or not scoring. So I was real happy for her to have a big weekend like she did this weekend. She deserved it."

Goaltender Mandy Mackrell made the conference's Honor Roll. The junior had a career-high 32 saves on Friday and made 30 the next night.
