The Plattsburgh State Hockey team and coaching staff have requested that fans refrain from wearing the Red Nation Army tee shirts (pictured below) this weekend in Oswego. The team feels the shirts reflect an image that does not coincide with that of the program and its fans. These shirts will only serve to motivate the opposing team and put our team and fans in a negative light.

Coach Emery hopes that all Cardinal Hockey Fans show the same amount of class that he demands of his team on and off the ice. The team feels these shirts are in bad taste and again, asks that fans refrain from wearing them in Oswego. The team thanks everyone for their support and looks forward to seeing everyone in Cortland and Oswego this weekend.
